The Brock Experience Puts Inclusion First
Insight Brock University is focused on creating an environment that is diverse and inclusive through creating systems that advocate for LGBTQ+ identifying students.
Brock University is a progressive light on the Canadian landscape when it comes to equality and inclusivity.
We’re the kind of place that adds a Pride Week in the month of March to ensure students are still on campus and can celebrate together.
Our Office of Human Rights and Equity works with partners on and off campus to prevent hate, harassment, and discrimination.
This year, Brock created a President’s Advisory Committee on Human Rights, Equity and Decolonization, and established a Director of Human Rights and Equity portfolio that reports directly to the President.
Human Rights staff are also working with students to launch the Trans-Inclusion Project to help more members of the community understand what it means to be trans-inclusive. And, we’re an exceptional comprehensive university with award-winning teachers and scholars.
